About

The Quebec Network for Research on Aging supports multidisciplinary and intersectoral research on aging at both the national and international levels. Bringing together researchers from a wide range of fields, the RQRV offers funding programs to its researcher and student members.

Objectives

Encourage the emergence and growth of research on aging from the cellular level to society as a whole and promote it nationally and internationally.
Transform the RQRV from a sector specific network into an intersectoral and multidisciplinary network that positions aging and its many dimensions as a research priority for the Quebec academic community.
Actively share research findings with the scientific community, professionals working with aging adults, community associations, government agencies, and the general public.
Support research that addresses societal needs by applying best management practices and integrating principles of sustainable development, EDI, and social engagement.
Provide leadership and serve as a key partner consulted on major government decisions, policies, and programs affecting aging adults in Quebec.

To support all citizens in their desire to age according to their needs, preferences, and aspirations, while promoting their health and quality of life. The Network focuses on all dimensions of aging across the entire life course.
