Quebec Network for Research on Aging Training Awards
GENERAL TRAINING AWARDS
The Quebec Network for Research on Aging earmarks part of its funding from the Fonds de la recherche en santé du Québec (FRSQ) to provide training awards to graduate and postdoctoral students who are members of the network.
The Quebec Network for Research on Aging Training Awards are subject to the same criteria as new and renewal applications for FRSQ Training Awards. The amounts awarded are also determined according to the respective policies of these two programs, as well as according to how much funding the Network has available. Candidates are ranked in order of merit by the FRSQ; the Network’s awardees are then selected from this list by the Network’s Executive Committee.
Have submitted an application to the appropriate FRSQ Training Award Program (Master’s/Doctoral or Postdoctoral) for the coming fiscal year. (For example, the application deadline for FRSQ Training Awards running from April 1, 2006 through March 31, 2007 was October 15, 2005.)
Have been placed on the list of applicants to whom the FRSQ gave a composite rating of “meritorious” but did not grant an award.
